    Roberto Bubas, and other rangers of the Province of Chubut, Argentina, have been conducting a long-term project to study the natural history and genealogy of the orcas of northern Patagonia. The principal goal of the project is to better understand the population status of the species to enable us to produce strategies for their conservation.

    North Gulf Oceanic Society, Homer, Alaska, a non-profit organization that specializes in marine mammal research, conservation and education.     The Salish Sea Hydrophone Network. A growing coalition of scientists, educators, and citizens are working together to expand a regional hydrophone network in the Salish Sea. This site is part of the SeaSound Project of The Whale Museum and is an experiment in sharing real-time underwater sound from different "nodes" of the network via the Internet.
