Information on the Event: Improve habitat health by removing invasive plants and mulching to protect plants for our hot, dry summers and prepare planting bed for the fall creation of a Salish/Duwamish Tribe culturally significant native planting. This is a sacred site of the Duwamish Tribe and one of the largest salmon habitats in the lower river. The river is home to all 5 salmon species including the Chinook.
